Veneers are high-quality restorations that are designed to be extremely thin. This is because they’re bonded over the front surfaces of the patient’s teeth, effectively replacing their existing smile with one that’s beautifully white and free of flaws. Their versatile nature is perfect for treating a wide variety of cosmetic concerns, including the following:
For many patients, achieving whiter teeth is their number one aesthetic concern. At Nawrocki Dental, we offer Opalescence take-home whitening kits that can brighten enamel dramatically over the course of a few weeks. However, it’s important to remember that existing restorative work will need to be replaced to match the new shade of your teeth, and that touch-ups will be required every few years to maintain the improvements you’ve achieved.
We recommend teeth whitening for patients who are facing the following situations:

If your smile is overly “gummy” in appearance, a crown lengthening procedure can expose more of the natural, beautiful tooth structure hidden underneath the excess tissue. Dr. Nawrocki may also recommend this procedure if restorative care is needed and there isn’t enough visible structure to successfully place a dental crown or other restoration. Our team can perform this procedure on a single tooth, several teeth, or even the entire gum line.
Gum grafts come in many forms – they may be used to thicken gum tissue in a certain area or cover exposed tooth roots. At Nawrocki Dental, patients can rest assured that our team will handle the procedure as comfortably as possible, and your oral health will be much improved as a result. Choosing to pursue cosmetic dentistry is a worthwhile investment. You’ll find that once you achieve your desired results, the look of your smile will be worth every bit of time and money you spent. But exactly what is the cost of cosmetic dentistry in Cocoa Beach? This is a common question asked by most patients, which is why we’ve detailed various information below for you to review. At Dr. Gary Nawrocki’s Cocoa Beach dental office, you’ll find there are many different types of cosmetic treatments available. Because each has its own price point, you’ll want to consider the expected cost when deciding which one is right for you:
Cosmetic dentistry is not only designed to improve the aesthetics of your smile, but it can also lead to better oral health. When you feel good about the way you look, you’ll likely want to take more time to focus on your oral hygiene routine. This can ultimately result in a lower risk of decay, gum disease, and other serious dental problems.
By investing in cosmetic treatments, you can regain a sense of confidence that was not there before, allowing you to also pursue greater personal and professional opportunities.
It is unlikely that your dental insurance company will cover the cost of any cosmetic treatment. Because these are deemed “elective” services, you’ll be required to look elsewhere when it comes to payment. Fortunately, our cosmetic dentist in Cocoa Beach is here to explain the additional payment options offered in-house, such as:

While it is true that the main goal of cosmetic dentistry is to improve a person’s appearance, the truth is that it does much more. While ridding your smile of stains, cracks, and gaps might seem like a solely aesthetic-driven goal, the reality is that by fixing these problem areas of your smile, you’re also minimizing your risk for tooth decay, gum disease, and other serious dental problems. Far too often, aesthetic-based issues can lead to necessary restorative treatments, so when pursuing cosmetic dentistry, you can feel confident knowing that your appearance isn’t the only thing that is improving.
While some forms of cosmetic dentistry are beneficial to a teen’s smile, it is up to Dr. Nawrocki to determine if they are eligible to receive certain types of treatment. For instance, orthodontics, teeth whitening, and dental bonding are possible cosmetic solutions for a teenager. However, veneers, crown lengthening, and gum recontouring are not suitable solutions for a young person whose oral and facial structures are still developing.
Dr. Nawrocki isn’t just a general dentist. He also studied cosmetic dentistry at Louisiana State’s Dental School and advanced aesthetics with Rosenthal Institute of New York. His in-depth knowledge, training, and skillset when it comes to providing cosmetic dentistry make him one of the best in Cocoa Beach. By choosing to see a cosmetic dentist to whiten your smile, hide your flaws, or create an even gum line, you are putting your smile in the trusted hands of someone who believes in the importance of providing patients with healthier, more beautiful smiles. Cosmetic dentists need additional training to perform many of these services, so it’s important you do your homework beforehand.
Unfortunately, dental insurance companies, for the most part, do not cover cosmetic treatments. The only caveat is if you require some form of restorative service as well (i.e., dental crown). You’ll need to speak with a representative from your insurance company to determine if there are any coverage exceptions. No matter the result, if you need assistance paying for your cosmetic treatment, works with CareCredit financing, which allows you to enroll in a low- or no-interest payment plan.
Having custom veneers created and placed here at Nawrocki Dental will require two appointments. During the first one, Dr. Nawrocki will lightly alter the surface of your natural teeth so that the new veneer can fit into place while still looking natural. We’ll take impressions and choose a shade that’s a strong match for your original enamel.
The patient will then return to our dental office once we’ve received the finished veneer. After making any last-minute adjustments, Dr. Nawrocki will cement the finished restoration in place. Veneers are highly durable and can be treated just like natural teeth with regular oral hygiene – in fact, their porcelain structure is more resistant to gradual staining than your tooth enamel. If you’re ready to pursue this cosmetic transformation, don’t hesitate to contact Nawrocki Dental in Cocoa Beach, FL today to schedule a visit. We look forward to welcoming patients from Merritt Island, FL and other surrounding areas.
Dr. Nawrocki will want to schedule two appointments – one where impressions are taken, and another where our team provides you with your new, customized oral trays. The patient is then instructed to wear the trays together with a high-grade whitening solution for a certain amount of time (typically either half an hour or overnight) whenever they’re able to. You should expect to experience some sensitivity during this process, but it will end shortly after the trays are removed. Within a few weeks of diligent use, you should see bright, beautiful improvements!
The amount of time crown lengthening requires will vary depending on how many teeth are directly involved in the procedure and whether any bone needs to be removed in addition to gum tissue. Dr. Nawrocki will begin by making small incisions around the soft tissue so that it can be safely removed from the teeth. Even if only one tooth is directly in need of recontouring, our team will usually treat the surrounding teeth as well so that the reshaping is even and aesthetically pleasing.
When Dr. Nawrocki is satisfied by the new exposure, the gum tissue will be sutured in place with small stitches. Patients will notice that their teeth appear noticeably longer right away. Our team can provide prescriptions for pain medication as needed, and antibacterial mouth rinses are often recommended as well to keep infectious bacteria from accumulating. After a period of two to three months, the surgical site should be completely healed.
Before the surgical process can begin, our team will first need to thoroughly clean the teeth and the space beneath the gum line to remove plaque and tartar. After administering local anesthetic, Dr. Nawrocki will use tissue that comes from either the patient’s palate or a tissue bank.
Then, incisions are made at the treated site in order to create a small pocket, which is where the new tissue will be inserted. The graft is typically a little larger than the area, so some excess will be noticeable. Finally, sutures are usually placed to add necessary stabilization and to prevent any unwanted shifting of the new graft. In most cases, healing is complete in around six weeks.
